About this Event

The Friends of Sheffield Castle welcome you to a tour of the site of Sheffield Castle, including a visit to the only visible remains of the Castle inside a purpose built chamber. Hear about the Castle's history, the recent archaeological investigations and also learn of future plans for the site.

This location of the tour is unsuitable for wheelchair access. The walk takes in a steep incline to an upper level and narrow steps down into a chamber and could be prohibitive for those who struggle to walk. Children very welcome. Please wear strong shoes/ boots. The site is outside and no toilets are available.
