The unveiling is open to the public and guests are invited to join the celebration and enjoy refreshments prepared by St. Juanita’s dietary department.
Painted by the talented Chrystal Goodman, Juanita is a colorful reflection of the facility’s mission to create a lively, connected, and welcoming space for residents and the community alike. Goodman’s art, featured throughout St. Juanita’s hallways, has helped transform the new facility into a vibrant and inspiring environment that mirrors the spirit of those who call it home.
St. Juanita Retirement & Rehab believes their sheep, Juanita, represents an opportunity to connect with the San Angelo community and raise the bar for long-term care in the area. The organization is passionate about bringing the community into the building through volunteerism and activities that keep their residents engaged as active members of San Angelo. They want people to be excited to live, work, and volunteer here, and Juanita is the perfect mascot for that mission.
As the newest long-term care facility in Texas, St. Juanita Retirement & Rehab offers a modern approach to senior living with private showers, a top-quality menu, a theatre room, custom murals on every hallway, a beautiful chapel, an in-house beauty shop, and a state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym. These features set a new standard for care in the Concho Valley.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, take a tour, or join the waitlist through the St. Juanita website. The facility is currently hiring for multiple positions and accepting new residents from the waitlist. We hope you’ll stop by to celebrate our new sheep and help us welcome Juanita to the flock.
