16.00-17:00: La Nagualita by Sally Hilton

About Sally,

Sally Hilton is a dancer and emerging performer from Guatemala. Sally was the lead dancer in Sheba Arts' first drama production ' ‘Dance Away The Spider’’ in 2019 and since then she has been involved in many projects across the North. La Nagualita is her first one-person show.

About the show:

An isolated Guatemalan village is haunted by the presence of a "nagual", a mythical shape shifting witch. "La Nagualita" explains how she was born to be Nagual and the realisation of her true self. This is the first full play by Sally, Ixcanual Arts, and explores issues faced by the LGBTQ community in Guatemala. It will be a work in progress performance followed by a Q and A.
