Indie-soul artist Shea Givens creates a unique mix of soul, pop,and r&b . “One of my favorite things is to hear of someone else
being able to express their own emotions while listening to one of my performances or
songs.” Shea says, “It's very humbling to know that I can be a small piece of another
human's life in that way.”
Born and raised in Missouri, Shea grew up singing, songwriting, playing the piano, and
performing. Her inspiration to pursue music stems from performing alongside her mother at
a young age. She continued to perform all throughout college, helping to develop a unique
voice of her own. Artistry and music are very powerful and therapeutic experiences for
Shea. She is consistently writing, capturing all of the emotions she feels.
