She Who Creates, She Who Inspires. Songs by Women and Songs Written for Them.

We are excited to present a programme of wonderful music by and for women in our summer concert at the United Reformed Church, Paul Street, Taunton on Saturday 20 June at 7:30 pm. Comprising some familiar songs and others new to us, it is a fitting debut for our new Musical Director Marysia Gorska-Saj who brings a new perspective to Collegium Singers.
Women’s voices - heard, imagined, and inspired - lie at the heart of this programme. Bringing together works by female composers past and present with music shaped by feminine figures, it moves from Renaissance intimacy to contemporary luminosity, exploring love, devotion, and light through a rich tapestry of choral sound.
