She Who Burns

She Who Burns is a firelit evening circle for women navigating divorce, separation, heartbreak, rejection, or quiet loneliness. This gathering blends ritual, creativity, and community care to honour release and renewal.

What to Expect

• Opening circle with grounding, intention setting, and card pulling
• Creation of foraged witchlight torches
• Torch-lit forest walk with a collective howl beneath the trees
• Sacred kowy and hair-brushing circle, offering safe, consensual, soothing touch
• Closing bonfire to release words and feelings that no longer serve us

Venue
The Sacred Woods is a care farm and retreat space just outside Edmonton, home to horses, goats, pigs, cats, and more. Expect an outdoor/indoor experience with both forest and dome spaces.

What to Bring

• Warm, comfortable clothing for outdoor activities
• A blanket, water bottle, and journal (optional)
• An open heart and willingness to share space in community
• A dish to contribute to the community potluck

Sliding Scale pricing: $40-$90 by donation. Half of all proceeds support the animals at Sacred Woods; the other half aid women fleeing domestic violence.

This circle is inclusive and welcoming of LGBTQ+ women, and held as a safe, affirming space for all who attend.
