What is a hustings?

A Hustings is an event providing voters with an opportunity to hear the views of candidates or parties. It usually has candidates from different parties answering questions and debating policies. A hustings does not promote any particular candidate or party because they all have the opportunity to speak and be questioned.

Please note that Nottingham Women's Centre is a charity and completely non-partisan. We aim to support women to participate in the democratic process and hear from all candidates - we do not endorse any particular party or viewpoint.
