Some stories are meant to be told outside.
This June part of the Power in Place festival, SHE steps into the open air. No theatre walls. Just water, sky, and the kind of dancing that makes strangers stop and stay.
Keneish Dance performs SHE: Through The Wild (excerpts) at the Neighbourhood Futures Festival — an excerpt from our full production, brought to life at the beautiful Edgbaston Reservoir Nature and Wellbeing Centre.
SHE is a celebration of African diasporic women — their power, their presence, their joy. Expect live movement, real emotion, and the spine-tingling sounds of Sons of Kemet's jazz album Your Queen Is a Reptile.
Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.
NOTE: The festival is free and link to register for a space below. The festival starts at 10.30am and SHE: Through The Wild (excerpts) performs at 4.30pm
