MEET OUR SPEAKERS AND HOST:

HOST: Shanté Cotton is The Creative Founder of Amor Life LLC & Inspired With Shanté, She Thrives Women's Empowerment Experience and also works as a Senior Accountant Consultant. Shanté is a devoted Mom, believer, and a passionate advocate against Domestic Violence. Shanté previously served as Chair and Vice-Chair of the City of Charlotte Domestic Violence Advisory Board, as a Mayoral Appointee. The Domestic Violence Advisory Board (DVAB) periodically reviews and evaluates all Charlotte and Mecklenburg County domestic violence services, makes appropriate recommendations to Charlotte City Council and the Board of County Commissioners to identify gaps, or need for additional services to meet the needs of victims of domestic violence and their children; and, provides vigorous advocacy for domestic violence awareness and its related costs to victims and the community.

Shanté has been trained and certified as a Certified Life Coach by the pioneering dean of Self-Talk himself, Dr. Shad Helmstetter, best selling author of "What to Say When You Talk to Yourself."
