She Scales: Global Entrepreneurship Week
About this Event
She Scales x Global Entrepreneurship Week is bringing an #IAmRemarkable Workshop
📅 Date: 18th November 2026
🕰️ Time: 09:30am - 1:00pm
📍 Location: Royal Bank Accelerator, 142 - 144 Princess Street
As a founder, you are your business’s first and loudest advocate. Every pitch, every sales conversation, every partnership, every “so what do you do?” depends on your ability to talk confidently about what you’ve built and why it matters.
And yet so many founders find this the hardest part. Cultural and gender modesty norms plus imposter syndrome, can make it feel uncomfortable to share your wins, own your expertise or ask for what your business needs. The result is opportunities missed, prices kept too low and brilliant businesses that stay far quieter than they deserve to be.
#IAmRemarkable is a Rmrkblty initiative empowering women and underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements, at work and beyond.
During this workshop, you’ll:
- Learn why self-promotion matters in your personal and professional life, and how it shapes your visibility, your sales and the opportunities that come your way
- Get practical tools to talk about your achievements and your business with confidence, whether that’s on social media, in a pitch or in a networking conversation
- Explore and challenge the beliefs that make self-promotion feel uncomfortable, and replace them with ones that help you grow
- Leave with your own remarkable statements, ready to use straight away
What are the goals of an #IAmRemarkable workshop?
- Improve self-promotion motivation and skills for women and underrepresented groups
- Challenge the social perception around self-promotion
Who is it for?
Anyone who wants to show up more confidently for themselves and learn how to self-promote better.
Your facilitator

After a career in HR and recruitment at companies including Google and PepsiCo, she built her own online business, where she mentors ambitious corporate professionals who want to create a life beyond the 9-5 but don’t know where to start. She knows first-hand what it takes to go from talking about other people’s achievements to confidently talking about your own.
