She Scales: Female Founders Connection and Co‑working
About this Event
Description:
She Scales is a monthly female founders connection and co‑working day delivered across every NatWest Accelerator hub. It is a dedicated space for women who are building and growing businesses. The session brings people together to share experiences, exchange insight, and build community in a warm and honest environment.
Whether you are at the beginning of your journey, scaling with momentum, or learning from those who have already travelled the path ahead, She Scales offers meaningful connection, practical conversation, and genuine support. We welcome female founders, non‑binary founders who feel aligned with women’s spaces, and allies who wish to contribute, learn, and support.
This months guest speaker
Kathryn Wharton is the founder of KLW Marketing and co-founder of Women in Tech North East CIC. Her career has taken a proper squiggly route — from museums and archaeology, into technology and marketing, and now into building her own AI agents without writing a single line of code.
She's Newcastle-based, a regular at the NatWest Accelerator, and spends a fair bit of her time proving that you don't need to be technical to build tools that change how you work. Her approach is simple: show up, stay curious, and see what you can build.
Session:
Scale Yourself First: Building AI Agents That Actually Help
You're probably already using AI. If you're like most founders, it's writing your captions or drafting your emails. This talk is about levelling that up.
I'll show you what happens when you stop using AI just for content, and start using it to build — agents that work away in the background of your business, taking a bit of the load off. One goes looking for new business while I get on with everything else. Another hunts down speaking opportunities like this one. And a third keeps my schedule in sync with my biology, so I can show up as my best self, whatever point I'm at in my cycle.
None of it started with the tech. It started with a problem I had. That's what I want you to leave with — not a list of tools, but a different way of looking at the problems in your business, and where a bit of AI support might actually help.
We'll finish with time to think about your own blockers, chat it through with whoever's sitting next to you, and open the floor for questions.
