📅 Date: 15th December 2026
🕰️ Time: 09:30am - 4:00pm
📍 Location: Royal Bank Accelerator, 142 - 144 Princes Street
Summary
A hands-on She Scales workshop: the frameworks global brands grow on, built for founders and delivered at founder speed.
Description
Diamonds are made under pressure. So are growing businesses. What matters is whether the structure underneath holds.
If you're in the messy middle - too big to run on gut feel and a spreadsheet, not yet set up to grow without breaking - this session is for you. Most founders at this stage don't need another strategy deck. They need to get organised, know which numbers actually matter, and have frameworks they can use to make decisions and grow with confidence.
Global-grade leadership. Founder-speed delivery.
Full-day workshop, 9.30am to 4.30pm.
What you'll do
No PowerPoint theatre. You'll work on your own business, with your own numbers, throughout:
- The brand and commercial frameworks used by global businesses, cut down to what a founder can use on Monday
- The metrics that matter, and the ones you can stop chasing
- What investors actually look for before they back a founder, and how to show it
- Commercial finance vs. accounting: why the numbers your accountant files aren't the numbers you run the business on
- Supply chain for scale: getting stock, suppliers and cash working together before growth breaks them
- AI without the hype: where it can save you time and find margin now, and where it's just noise
You'll leave with a plan you can act on, not a list of things to think about.
Who's running it
Lucy Henderson and Rachel Steven, co-founders of Fractional Folk. Between them: 40+ years inside Diageo, Heineken, AG Barr, C&C Group and Procter & Gamble, more than £1bn in transformation programmes and 60+ markets.
Lucy spent 13 years at Heineken, rising to Marketing Director EMEA Export, then led Tennent's, Magners and Menabrea as GB Marketing Director at C&C Group, and as UK Marketing Director at AG Barr restored IRN-BRU to growth and took Rubicon to £100m revenue. She chairs Investing Women Angels, Scotland's first all-female angel syndicate, and has built her own tech start-up - so she knows what investors need and what founders face.
Rachel has 20 years in the engine rooms of global FMCG (P&G and Diageo), with a stint in the public sector running governance, risk and board reporting. She now advises Signal, an AI-powered revenue growth management platform, and works hands-on with owner-led businesses. She'll show you how your pricing, promotions, supply chain and people all show up in one place: your numbers. And where AI can help you find the margin you're leaving on the table.
Fractional Folk embeds senior leaders inside scaling businesses. We don't sell time. We sell momentum.
Bring: a laptop, your latest numbers, and the decision you keep putting off.
