Dr. Veronica Appleton is a scholar, professor, media executive, and children’s author. As a renowned speaker, Appleton has served as keynote speaker and curriculum designer for some of the world's largest Fortune 500 organizations. Of all her career accolades, Dr. Appleton is a giver of her time to the community and as a children’s literacy advocate. She's also a mentor and board member of several nonprofits providing resources and impact in communities of color, women, men and children. Dr. Appleton believes her health journey is part of her self journey and desires to bloom with vulnerability and connection to others.

Britt Julious (she/her) is a writer, editor, essayist, and storyteller focusing on subjects that intersect the worlds of art, culture, race, feminism and politics. A firm believer in the underground, the avant-garde and the underdog, Britt currently serves as the music critic for the Chicago Tribune. As a freelance journalist, she has written for Pitchfork, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, Glamour, The Cut, the New York Times and many others. Her writing, blogging, and other work has acquired press from outlets including The New York Times, CNN, the TODAY show, and Telemundo. In 2023, Britt was an inaugural fellow of the University of Chicago’s Critic’s Table. She is also a recipient of the Studs Terkel award in journalism for her work spotlighting underserved communities.

Delilah Martinez is a philanthropist, social entrepreneur, and founder of The Mural Movement, and Big Sis Club. Born and raised In Chicago, Delilah started her first business 10 years ago with VIP Paints, following with Vault Gallerie. Mainly known for her non-profit The Mural Movement which she started in June 2020, in the heart of Pilsen following the M**der of George Floyd, Delilah organized artists throughout Chicago to volunteer in creating murals to support the message Black Lives Matter and Black and Brown unity amongst communities of color.
