Shawsheen Swim Lessons

September 18th-November 13th

(SATURDAYS-8 Classes)

No Class Oct. 9th Columbus Day Weekend

• Levels 1-4 lessons are half hour at 9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am, 10:30am, 11:00am, 11:30am ($108/child)

• Level 5 lessons are one hour - 9:00am, 10:00am or 11:00am ($216.00/child)

• Payment Method: Cash, check or charge (Make checks out to Shawsheen Tech)

• Flip flops and goggles are welcome

• Children must be potty trained

For instructional and safety purposes parents are not allowed to watch the swim lessons until the very last class of the session. Parents shall wait in the waiting area until the lesson is over.

SKILL LEVEL

Level 1 - Child cannot put his/her face in the water

Level 2 - Child can put his/her face in the water – floats on front/back with assistance

Level 2.5 - Child can put his/her face in the water – can swim and float on back without assistance

Level 3 - Child can swim unassisted; does not know any strokes (butterfly, back, breast, free style) Class is held in the deep end

Level 4 - Child can swim 25 yards without stopping (one length of pool) and jumps off the diving board without assistance.

Level 5 - Child can swim 100 yards without stopping (four lengths of pool) and knows all their strokes (back, butterfly, breast, freestyle) and is swim team ready
