Shawn Kinley:
Broadly speaking, Shawn is both a teacher and a performer.
He is deeply passionate about the learning process—how we think, connect, and engage with each other both on and off the stage.
Shawn’s work has a wide-reaching impact, touching on education, group dynamics, human behaviour, creativity, and much more.
With a rich background in Mime, Mask, Physical Theatre, and Improvisation, he draws on a diverse mix of styles and tools, making his workshops accessible and inspiring for people of all skill levels and backgrounds. Over the past four decades, Shawn has taught and performed in 55 countries—and counting!
For more than 20 years, he worked directly alongside Keith Johnstone. While based in Calgary, Shawn spends about nine months of the year travelling and collaborating with people around the globe.
And remember—you don’t need to be a professional to join in.
Shawn’s workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned performers.
