Shawn Gardini is a Philadelphia-born, New Jersey-raised stand-up comedian and an official performer at the 2026 Riot Comedy Festival. He is best known as a producer on Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast and for his work on the sketch series Gilly and Keeves. Shawn has become a familiar face to comedy fans through his many podcast appearances and his distinct, deadpan, self-aware style that has made him a cult favorite online and on the road. Equal parts absurd and sharply observant, Shawn is one of the most unique voices coming out of the current comedy scene and a must-see performer at this year’s festival.

The Riot Comedy Festival returns April 1–4, 2026 for four days of standup, podcasts, special events, parties, and the national comedy contest, all centered in the Montrose area. Shows will take place at The Riot Comedy Club at Rudyards and The Gordy Theatre, with more venues being added.

This is Houston’s biggest comedy weekend of the year and the best way to see dozens of incredible comedians, including Shawn Gardini and many more.
