Elevate your concert experience by enjoying The Foundation Room! Entertainment from Shawan Rice from 6:15 - 9:15 PM. Enjoy craft cocktails and small plates in the Lounge, or request a Dining Room reservation. Lounge access includes access to the Main Hall directly from the Foundation Room and access to the reserved standing room only area for Foundation Room members. Guests must have already purchased tickets to the concert. Concert Tickets are not included with Lounge Access. Those with tickets to the main hall show can access the main hall from the Foundation Room and have access to the Member Only standing room area.
Shawan is a deeply soulful songstress, originally hailing from Central Pennsylvania. Her music is an eclectic layered mix of rootsy neo-soul that is heavily influenced by Black American music. Shawan began writing music at 13 years old, crafting her with seasoning from artists from Jimi Hendrix to Erykah Badu. She began to play live in 2008, having since released 4 E.P.s, toured throughout the US, eventually relocating to New Orleans where she has established herself as a regular gigging musician. Playing solo or with her band, Shawan has played many iconic venues and festivals, opening for national acts including Grace Potter and George Porter Jr.
