Shark Week - DIY Shark Teeth Skimmer - Family Stay & Play - Beach Event

SHARK WEEK STAY & PLAY AT THE BEACH:

Unleash your inner shark scientist! Our Shark Week Stay & Play lets you build your own shark teeth skimmer, comb the water for hidden treasures, and learn all about these fascinating creatures. Identify shark teeth, discover amazing facts, make new friends, and enjoy some fun beach time with your family – it's the perfect way to dive into Shark Week!

What's included:

• Build Your Own Shark Tooth Skimmer Workshop: (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM)
• All materials provided to make a PVC 10x10 shark tooth skimmer + Plastic scooper and bag/container to store your treasures.
• Shark Tooth Hunt: (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) Hit the beach with your skimmer and see what you can find!
• Educational Materials: Learn all about sharks and their fascinating world. DIGITAL DOWNLOAD WILL BE EMAILED and copies will be availble for beach use
• Beach Time: Stay and play on the beach after the hunt (optional)
• FUN with friends: Make new friends and become part of a community!

When and Where:

• Location: Caspersen Beach (meeting location details will be emailed)
• Date: Wednesday, July 10th, 2024
• Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (with flexibility to stay and play after)

Price: $60 Per Family (includes all materials + learning resources). Please note that this fee covers cost of (1) skimmer per family. Additional materials are available at reduced cost.

Registration:

• Payment due at registration (covers materials and resources)
• Waiver and Photo Release forms are required and will be emailed prior to event date.
• Event details (where to meet) and resources (and downloads) will be emailed at least 2-days prior to event date.
