Sharing Treasure

Bring one, bring all for this Special pre-Mother’s Day program, something any of your mother figures might enjoy! Helen Nakano, founder of Hanafuda Hawaiʻi will share the story of how she discovered the cultural significance of Hanafuda; a traditional Japanese card game. Following this, participants will also be able to learn and play Hanafuda! For those interested, Hanafuda packs will be available for purchase at the end of the program.
