About this Event
An opportunity for individuals, parishes, and deaneries to learn more and discern how to respond to the needs in their community.
The day will provide an opportunity for individuals, parishes, and deaneries to learn more about the needs in their community and then to prayerfully discern how best to respond, with the resources available to them.
The day will include a Facilitated Social Activism Planning session in small groups using the See, Judge, Act method.
It is hoped the input, opportunity for networking and resources provided on the day will equip communities to be a greater beacon of hope in their locality, both in the short and long term.
Attendees are encouraged to attend as a group and the session assigned for their deanery, where possible.
The event is designed for those already involved in social action and those wishing to get involved. All are welcome!
Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
