Shared Waters Shared Crisis: Film screening and panel discussion
Join us June 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM (Pacific Time) at Patagonia Vancouver for the screening of Shared Waters Shared Crisis.
The film (watch trailer here) examines what it means to care for an ecosystem divided by borders yet deeply interconnected by nature. Centered in the Salish Sea region, the film brings together the perspectives of Indigenous marine guardians, salmon fishers, and conservation scientists working to restore habitats and protect the species that define the Pacific Northwest. From the Fraser River and its estuary to the wider Salish Sea, the documentary highlights how the health of these waters is tied to collective stewardship, cross-border cooperation, and the future of salmon and orcas alike.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with our awesome partners & panelists:
Eden Luymes, Conservation Campaigner - Ocean Program at CPAWS-BC and
Anna Barford, Canadian Shipping Campaigner at Stand.earth
It's a great chance to learn, connect, and chat with others who care about our planet. Come say hello!
Pssst... snacks and beverages will be provided.
