Shared Values in Action Summit

ChamberRVA, in partnership with the Community Foundation for a greater Richmond and PlanRVA, is thrilled to host the upcoming “Shared Values in Action Summit” on Friday, September 30, 2022.

This year, our summit will feature a keynote presentation from internationally acclaimed economist Raj Chetty, detailing his data on growing Richmond’s economic mobility and equality of opportunity. Dr. Chetty is the William A. Ackman Professor of Economics at Harvard University, as well as the Director of Opportunity Insights, an organization dedicated to using “big data” to illustrate how children from disadvantaged backgrounds can be provided with more opportunities for future success.

In addition, the “Shared Values in Action Summit” will include talks and interactive dialogues from with a robust group of local and regional civic thought leaders, all focused on creating a more connected, healthy, prosperous and equitable community throughout the Richmond region.

Attendees of the “Shared Values in Action Summit” will also participate in an afternoon of engagement and activation with opportunities to discuss and share their personal priorities for advancing the region, along with additional dialogue designed to enhance collaborative efforts.
