About this Event
The Shared Capacity Summit: A Cross-Sector Approach to Health, Work, and Community
Join us in Baltimore for The Shared Capacity Summit, a one-day convening designed to bring together healthcare leaders, nonprofit executives, small business owners, and experienced professionals to explore how we strengthen organizations and expand access to care in a changing environment.
Hosted by Durant Bailey Group (DBG) as part of the Wells Fargo Fellowship powered by the Watson Institute, this event creates space for meaningful dialogue and practical collaboration at a time when organizations are rethinking how to operate, lead, and sustain impact.
At the center of the Summit is a clear reality: many organizations are operating without the financial and operational capacity they need, while experienced professionals remain underutilized. This convening is designed to bridge that gap through a shared capacity model that connects talent with mission-driven work to build stronger, more resilient communities.

- A fireside conversation: Nothing Is Constant but Change exploring how healthcare delivery and reimbursement have evolved and what leaders should expect next
- A featured panel: A Vision of Care Everyone Can Access examining the full set of factors that influence access to care, including non-clinical and economic drivers
- A discussion on Collaboration as Infrastructure highlighting how shared models can expand capacity, reduce costs, and strengthen organizations
- The Shared Capacity Lab, an interactive strategy session where participants work in teams to solve real operational challenges presented by mission-driven organizations
