Shaping Our Future: African American Arts & Cultural District TOWN HALL

This is the second interactive Town Hall for the San Francisco African-American Arts and Cultural District - the Bayview Hunters Point (94124). After our first Town Hall in February, dozens of community members participated in listening sessions, interviews and surveys to share feedback on the best strategies to advance the Cultural District's future. We are having another TOWN HALL to bring together all the community leaders, youth, residents, workers, artists and YOU, to hear the great strategies developed and decide how to make these strategies happen. This is a part of a collaborative effort to create the Cultural History, Housing, and Economic Sustainability Strategies (CHHESS) Report, the Cultural District's playlist of community-developed strategies and priorities for Bayview Hunters Point (94124). These strategies focus on preserving and promoting our diverse community's cultural assets, history, events, way of life, land use, and workforce opportunities. Participants at this Town Hall will help design partnerships and alliances to advance the CHHESS strategies.
