Open to Jewish women of all backgrounds and stages of their journey, this special gathering celebrates the mitzvah of ‘taking challah,’ one of Judaism’s sacred commandments. Stand shoulder to shoulder with neighbors to mix, shape, and prepare challah dough, just as women have done for generations. While the dough rises, enjoy delicious appetizers, lively dancing reminiscent of Miriam’s joy, and meaningful moments together. Take home your challah to bake and share for Shabbat. Open to ladies ages 8 and up—let’s make this an afternoon of unity and celebration!
