Alternate, psychedelic, garage rock band ShapeEater plays The Shoe Tree Listening Room at Arrow Art Annex, 1342 St. Louis Street on Friday, May 10 at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30 for this alcohol free concert. General admission tickets are $20, and available at @arrowcreativereuse.org and at the door.The Shoe Tree will be grateful for your donation to their nonprofit, and for your purchase at the snack table.

In the spring of 2021, a collective love of alternative, psychedelic, and garage rock, brought ShapeEater into the universe. Haunting grooves of electric cello, four to seven string guitars, and drums, are brought to life by lyrics about horror and humanity. After making their debut in November of 2022, ShapeEater released their first collection of songs, appropriately titled ‘identity’, as a sign of things to come.
January 2024 brought the sophomore album, “Beneath The Skin”, available on all streaming platforms.
Each deeply tied to the local music scene in Springfield, Missouri, the band is comprised of Cori Edwards, James Moss, Douglas McCue and Cameron Steele.
