★ Shanin Blake's message behind her conscious pop music is the spark that sets her apart from the status quo. Native to Utah, Blake found her connection to music as a self taught musician at an early age, going as far as calling music her safe space. From playing open mics at cafes regularly, ukulele and guitar in hand, Shanin became an overnight local celebrity through her affirmative lyricism, flourishing an enthusiastic fan base from the ground up. Having her daughter at the age of seventeen, Shanin knew the road ahead would be an uphill battle as a single mom and rising artist, yet music remained her constant. Posting a cover on Facebook in 2014, the video became an internet sensation, populating hundreds of thousands of views and spreading Blake’s music nationwide, gaining traction and leading to the release of her 2018 debut album, Soulchild
Releasing a collaboration with popular lofi producer Jazzinuf in 2019, Shanin’s numbers skyrocketed again, quickly reaching 6 million streams on Spotify alone. Following up the single with her Lioness album and "Naked Sunshine" EP, her streams have only grown from then. Her
