Learn about the largely unknown story of stateless Jewish refugees that fled Nazi occupied countries for Shanghai, China between 1933-1941.About this Event
The program will feature the curators from Holocaust Museum LA’s 2022 exhibit “Hidden History: Recounting the Shanghai Jewish Story,” Jordanna Gessler, Vice President of Education and Exhibits, and Christie Jovanovic, Curator of Collections.
Special event guests will also include former Congresswoman Jackie Speier and 95-year-old Shanghai Survivor Renee Maimann Good.
