Shane Mauss caught his first big breaks early in his career with appearances on Conan, Comedy Central, HBO, and Showtime. Since then, he’s spent nearly 20 years touring full-time—carving one of the most unconventional paths in comedy.

Driven by a fascination with the psychology, behavior, decision making, and science’s unique lens on the human condition, Shane began interviewing scientists at universities in the towns where he performed—just as a hobby.
