Shamrock Steins!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with clay and a little creativity. In this one-day handbuilding class, students will decorate a ceramic stein and design a custom handle to make it truly their own. We’ll focus on surface design, attachment techniques, and building a functional form made to be used. This is a relaxed, festive class—perfect for beginners and anyone looking to make something fun, functional, and a little lucky. Extra cool points to anyone who wears green!

Accessing the Studio:
The front doors to the PACA building are locked. When you arrive, please call (814) 520-5089 and your instructor will buzz you in.

Students will start with a short demo before jumping into decorating their stein and building a custom handle. All materials, glazing, and firings are included. Finished steins will be glazed and fired by our staff and ready for pickup in 2–4 weeks.

Ages 16+. Class is limited to 15 students. Must be 21 or over to enjoy alcohol.

? Do I need experience?
Nope! This class is beginner-friendly.

? What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes that can get a little muddy. Tie back long hair and skip jewelry.

? Will it be food-safe?
Yes! Once fired and glazed, your stein will be fully functional.

? What if my piece cracks?
Clay can be unpredictable, especially with handles. We handle everything with care, but occasional losses happen.

? When do I pick it up?
About 2–4 weeks after class. Pickup details will be shared.
