Shamanic Journeying with the Runes

The runes are an ancient system of writing and divination dating back to the first century CE. The word rune means secret or whisper. While we can read what others write about the runes, one of the most potent ways to experience their wisdom & mystery is by experiencing them for ourselves. In this session, each participant will receive a rune they're meant to work with for the evening. You will be led on a shamanic journey to connect to the spirits of the runes themselves so you can have a deeper understanding of what their messages are for you. Participants will also get to experience Seidr, a form of spiritual practice from Nordic traditions in which participants chant together to send healing, and can then ask questions from the Otherworld to receive spiritual guidance. If you're interested in runes, prophecy, the magick of music, and the direct revelation shamanism provides, this evening is for you.

Please bring a pen and paper as well as cushions or a yoga mat for your shamanic journey.
