Mid-Winters Night (Double Bill)
Two Classic Comedies in one at Amsterdam’s Badhuistheater!
The Prague Shakespeare Company presents an evening featuring two popular comedies, Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, performed in English by their student actors on tour across Austria, the Netherlands and Germany. This is your chance to experience a special double bill of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies in Amsterdam’s incredible Badhuistheater.
Performed entirely in English, this incredible production features two Shakespearean masterpieces of chaos and romance:
Twelfth Night: A tale of shipwrecked twins, cross-dressing confusion, unrequited love, and the unforgettable Malvolio – a perfect blend of wit and melancholy.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Get lost in the Athenian forest with mixed-up lovers, mischievous fairies, and hilarious amateur actors, all woven together with a hint of Winter magic.
Come See Twelfth Night on the Twelfth Night!
This special performance falls on the actual night the play is named for; the Twelfth night of Christmas. It’s written in the stars!
Don’t miss this very special double-bill performance of classical Shakespeare at the Badhuistheater, a cultural hub for English and international theatre in Amsterdam Oost.
