This October, Delaware Shakespeare will return with a fan-favorite: "Shakespeare, Poe, and Fiends!" This year includes an exciting twist featuring The Delaware Symphony Orchestra’s Concertmaster, David Southorn, who will provide some chilling musical selections between the readings.
This special event will feature Del Shakes artists performing selections of scenes, prose, and poetry from Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, and their Gothic contemporaries. Del Shakes is thrilled to be collaborating with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra and Delaware Historical Society. And as always, we'll close with a dramatic reading of Poe's "The Raven." It is sure to fright and delight all who join!
