Shakespeare in the Pines returns to the Highlands Center’s Kiwanis Amphitheater this June 2026, bringing audiences a magical outdoor production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Presented in partnership with LAARK Productions, this beloved summer tradition continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of live theater and natural beauty.
Originally launched in 2014 as a collaborative fundraiser between the Highlands Center and LAARK Productions, Shakespeare in the Pines quickly grew into a highly anticipated annual event. Known for its immersive atmosphere and consistently sold-out performances, the production draws enthusiastic audiences from across the region.
Set beneath towering ponderosa pines, the event offers a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience where classic storytelling meets the scenic charm of the Central Highlands. Guests can expect an evening filled with humor, romance, and enchantment in a stunning outdoor setting.
Performances will take place on June 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27, 2026. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for a pre-show reception beginning at 6:00 PM, featuring catering by El Gato Azul and wine from Page Springs Cellars, which is included with your ticket! The performance will begin promptly at 6:50 PM. Tickets are expected to sell quickly. Early purchase is strongly recommended.
