Shakespeare in the Cemetery: Love's Labor Lost

Join us on October 3rd at 6pm for an outdoor production of Love's Labor Lost at Elmwood Cemetery. Bring a lawn chair; picnic baskets are welcome.

After vowing to avoid women, the King and three of his friends have to host a princess and her three ladies. The four men fall in love and decide to court the women. In the end, the women must return to their kingdom for a year after which they will marry the king and his friends, providing they remain true to them.

Tennessee Shakespeare Company is the first and only professional, not-for-profit theatre and education organization in Memphis dedicated to live, diverse performances of William Shakespeare’s plays, as well as works of social significance by classical, Southern, and modern playwrights/composers; and to providing innovative education, training, and outreach programming.
