Shakedown Street has been a Colorado staple since 1987 and is widely regarded as Colorado’s premier Grateful Dead tribute band. For more than 30 years, the band has brought the Dead’s expansive catalog to life, blending Americana, folk, blues, jazz, and rock & roll with improvisation at the heart of every show.
From long, exploratory jams to groove-heavy favorites and tight, energetic blues, Shakedown Street delivers the full Grateful Dead experience. Still drawing enthusiastic, often sold-out crowds, the band continues to connect generations of fans through the shared energy of live, improvisational music.
