Shake & Stir Armed Forces Weekender 2026 has now been officially recognised as an Armed Forces Day event!
📍 Fisherman’s Walk, Southbourne
📅 27th & 28th June 2026

Shake & Stir remains, at its heart, a celebration of vintage music, style and dance – bringing the joyful sounds of the 1940s–1960s to life – and in 2026 we’ll also proudly honour the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force as part of Armed Forces Day.
Expect live bands, dancing, vintage traders, military and heritage vehicles, cadet and veterans’ parades, a History Hub exhibition, and the moving Beating the Retreat ceremony – all in the welcoming, community spirit Shake & Stir is known for.
Now the work begins! To keep this a free event for everyone, we’re looking for:
