Shadow Day at BASIS Washington, D.C.

BASIS Washington, D.C. Shadow Days are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
During Shadow Days, visiting 4th grade students will be paired with a current BASIS 5th grader and follow them through their morning schedule.
They will visit classes, meet teachers and fellow students, and gain a firsthand look at the engaging academic environment and vibrant community that make BASIS DC unique.
Space is limited to ensure a personalized and meaningful experience for every participant.
Who Can Shadow?
Shadow Day is open exclusively to students who are currently enrolled in 4th grade and plan to enter 5th grade in the upcoming school year.
Due to our 5-12 grade levels, we are unable to accommodate students from grades K-3.
Before Your Visit
Prior to your scheduled Shadow Day, our Registrar will send important information and any required forms. Please ensure all documents are completed and submitted before your student's visit.
If your plans change, please cancel your reservation so another student may take advantage of this opportunity.
