...but this is Shades & Shenanigans, so don't expect an ordinary first day of school.
Join us at Bar 9 as we welcome back Savannah's college students with an outrageous Back-to-School Party featuring live music, burlesque, DJs, outrageous costumes, audience games, and plenty of the unexpected.
Whether you're a SCAD student, a Georgia Southern Eagle, an Armstrong alum, a local, or just someone who misses the chaos of campus life, this is your chance to relive the fun—without the homework.
Expect a night inspired by school days gone wonderfully off the rails:
- 🎓 School-themed burlesque performances
- 🎸 Live music by Captain Stoner & the Looters
- 🎧 Dance music throughout the evening
- 🍭 Sweet treats and playful surprises
- 📚 Audience games and interactive moments
- 🎭 Costumes encouraged! Come dressed as the teacher's favorite student, the class clown, the strict principal, the absent-minded professor, the cheerleader, the rebel, the librarian, or create your own hilarious school-inspired character.
You'll hear party favorites and school-inspired classics throughout the night, with surprises around every corner as our cast transforms Bar 9 into Savannah's most unforgettable classroom.
