Shade is a lively, experimental, groove-driven quartet, performing original instrumental music infused with neo soul, psychedelic, and nu-jazz influences. Their vibrant soundscapes evoke expansive imagery of alien terrains through sizzling sonic layers, bringing forth something new to the music scene of Lutruwita Tasmania, offering audiences a playful and engaging experience to immerse themselves in.

ABBY WALLACE:
Abby’s work blends wit, eroticism and dream-logic. She translates interior states into language, crafting songs that feel like emotional surveillance footage. Uninterested in imitation, Abby instead remains focused on the difficult, evolving task of sounding exactly like herself.
