Join us for this century‑old Red Dragon tradition as we celebrate the start of boating season with great food and community!Mahi‑mahi may supplement or replace shad based on availability.
Baked salmon is also available.
This dinner, where shad are baked on planks arranged around an open fire, has been a RDCC tradition for over a century. Here is your chance to try the fish often called the “founding fish.” Shad played a critical role in saving George Washington’s troops at Valley Forge in the spring of 1778.
$30 PER PERSON
Dinner includes fish, New England clam chowder, vegetables, dessert and appetizers. Beverages will include soda, tea and coffee. BYOB. Please bring an appetizer to share.
