About this Event
We are so excited to welcome the community back to Shabbat dinner at Slifka Center. Shabbat dinner is the central moment when we gather, celebrate, and join in the warmth and joy of shared food, song, and friendship each week. These dinners are free for all Yale students - undergraduate, graduate, and professional - postdoctoral fellows and other trainees, and faculty fellows. Other members of the Yale and New Haven communities, and visitors, can register and pay ahead of time with this form: payment is required and not accepted at the door. If these amounts represent a financial hardship, please contact Rabbi Jason Rubenstein at [email protected] to make arrangements.
You - yes, you - can help Slifka reduce food waste and live our values of sustainability by pre-registering below, even if you're a student. Registering isn't required to attend, and we don't turn any students away - it's to help us make the right amount of food from week to week.
Have any questions, ideas, or experiences to share about Shabbat dinner at Slifka? Send them to Rachel Leiken at [email protected].
We look forward to sharing Shabbat dinner with you this week and every week - let us know if you're planning on coming, and Shabbat shalom.
