🎸 Eric McFadden, a powerhouse guitarist and vocalist, has toured and recorded with George Clinton & P-Funk, Anders Osborne, Eric Burdon & The Animals, and collaborated with artists like Les Claypool, Jackson Browne, and Joe Strummer. He’s known for blending flamenco, punk, funk, and gypsy rock into a searing live performance.
🎤 Kate Vargas, born in Albuquerque and now based in New York, is known for her gravelly voice (often compared to Tom Waits), lyrical intensity, and a sound that fuses folk, supernatural storytelling, and hard-edged Americana. She’s earned praise from NPR, Rolling Stone, HuffPost, and American Songwriter.
Together as Sgt. Splendor, they released their first album Occasions for Self-Congratulations in 2022—a bold, genre-mashing declaration of soulful intent. GOLDMINE Magazine calls them “one of the most unique bands to come out of the new millennium.”
