Ready to take your pottery skills up a notch—or just want to try something new? Join our hands-on Sgraffito Workshop, designed especially for beginners and “Make Your Own” fans!
✨ What’s Sgraffito?✨
It’s a beautiful pottery technique where you scratch your own designs into a colored clay surface, revealing the natural clay underneath for striking, one-of-a-kind results.
Here’s what you’ll get:
✨A quick intro to sgraffito—what it is, how it works, and tips for success
✨ A 10- inch circle of leather hard clay to work with
✨Your choice of colored engobe to coat your clay piece (think: colored slip)
✨Simple tools to scratch your own patterns, drawings, or doodles
✨Step-by-step guidance from start to finish—no experience needed!
All materials and tools provided!
Bring your own ideas! You can print a design (up to a 10" circle) to copy onto your piece, or use one of our ready-to-go templates.
How it works:
Create your sgraffito masterpiece with us.
We’ll dry and fire it (about a week), then clear coat and fire again.
We’ll call you when it’s ready for pickup!
