GREEN VOICES: Different Perspectives, One Sustainable Future
From Nepal’s floods to greener choices at home, sustainability connects us all.

Climate change can sometimes feel like a problem that is too big, too distant or too complicated for one person to influence.

But what happens when we bring the conversation closer to home?

GREEN VOICES brings together eight voices and eight perspectives for an afternoon of stories, insights and practical ideas about sustainability, climate action and the choices we make every day.

🎤 From a global crisis...

Our keynote speaker, Dr Daniel Ng, takes us to Nepal, where devastating floods have affected communities and livelihoods.

Through his perspective, we explore the connection between extreme weather and climate change, and what these events can teach us about the urgency of building a more sustainable future.

🌱 ...to the choices we make at home

Our seven other speakers will bring sustainability into our everyday lives, exploring questions such as:

• What does our carbon footprint really mean?
• Where do individuals fit into the Singapore Green Plan?
• Can the way we shop make a difference?
• How can small everyday actions add up to meaningful impact?
• Are DIY home cleaners practical alternatives?
• What happens to solar panels when they reach the end of their useful life?
• How can we save electricity at home without making life difficult?

This isn't an afternoon about telling you to live perfectly.

It is about helping us understand that sustainability begins with awareness, grows through conversation and becomes meaningful through action.
