The SFNY Guitar Trio is an exciting new ensemble that hails from Brooklyn, New York, and San Francisco. The trio draws inspiration from the giants who created the 1981 best-selling album "Friday Night in San Francisco." John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, and Paco de Lucía kicked off the world music phenomenon all those years ago, and sparks are sure to fly when these three modern-day virtuosos pick up the mantle and bring their lightning-fast technical prowess to WOW Hall on Friday, January 10. The six-string masters are led by international guitar sensation Alex Skolnick of metal titans Testament, Brooklyn-based seven-string virtuoso Ron Jackson, and American Gypsy Jazz star George Cole, former guitarist for the David Grisman Quintet.
