Transforming Stress & Trauma: Trauma Informed Systems TIS 101 Part 2 the mandatory in-person workshop which helps SFDPH employees and contractors respond to trauma and stress to create a healthy and healing workplace:
In an interactive in-person workshop participants will:
- Learn what trauma is and the impact trauma and stress have on individuals, organizations, and systems.
- Learn about the trauma-informed systems principles; safety and stability, compassion and dependability, and resilience and recovery.
- Apply these principles to daily work
- Access resources for wellness and continued learning.
* Special Event June 1: Come to the San Francisco Public Library Koret Auditorium at 1:00 pm for a one-time session that fulfills the full requirement.
Note: This session is now provided by SFDPH HR and was adapted from the course previously offered by the Trauma Informed Systems Initiative. TIS 101 is not a clinical course and does not provide clinical guidance.
