Description:
Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) continues to significantly impact quality of life for oncology patients and remains an important focus of supportive cancer care. This presentation will provide an overview of current pharmacologic antiemetic therapies used in the prevention and management of CINV, as well as nonpharmacologic interventions that may support symptom control. Attendees will also discuss the role of implicit bias in symptom assessment and management and its impact on equitable, patient-centered oncology care.
