SF to GZ Reading @ Cafe Suspiro

Your favorite local activists & writers read from their work! All funds will go to the SF to GZ Fundraiser.
About this Event

We have an incredible line-up of local activist-authors who will be reading from their work in support of our fundraiser, From SF to GZ. The event will be hosted by T.K. Rex and M.M. Olivas.

We'll start in the café with a social hour, then move back into the gallery for the readings. (Both are located at 1246 Folsom Street!)

From SF to GZ is a joint fundraiser to support families in the San Francisco Bay Area and Gaza in meeting their basic needs. Funds to SF Bay Area Mutual Aid will be redistributed to neighbors on our waiting list, which is currently up to 296 people. These funds are almost always used for rent or emergency housing for folks who have been displaced due to natural disasters, violence, gentrification, or other crises. The families in Gaza will be supported directly through Bookworms for Gaza, an ongoing fundraiser that redistributes funds to verified families and mutual aid orgs to enable them to pay for shelter, medical care, food, baby formula, and other necessities.

Unable to join us, but still want to support the cause? Visit our Chuffed page to make a donation, and thank you!
