Sunset: 4:54 p.m.
High Tide: 2:21 p.m.
Low Tide: 9:11 p.m.
The tide is going out during the ritual.
Dec. 21 - Solstice Day - Sing Up the Sun (various locations)
Solstice Hour: 1:21 a.m.
Sunrise: 7:21 a.m.
COVID protocol:
Please negotiate the space that you need with the people around you. We are not requiring masks or tests, but we are still in a pandemic and we are singing in public together, so take care of yourself and your neighbors. If you have any cold or flu symptoms or potential COVID exposure, please stay home.
Needs:
- Dragons to help us interface with any uninvited guests in uniform and assorted kooky-loos. Please email if you’d like to volunteer!
- Non-treated, non-painted wood
- Candles and lanterns if it’s a Spare the Air Day (announced the day before by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District)
- Ritual drummers
Other things to bring:
- Flashlight
- A towel if you wish to plunge
- Non-alcoholic beverages in non-glass containers
- Finger food to share
- Cash for the hat
